The way the instruments are played, in both pieces you can tell it deals with a dramatic scene. However in each piece they have a different way of describing what is going on with the characters.
For example in Morales, from the time frame of 0.18 seconds up to 0.31 seconds when there are wooden blocks being struck against a hard surface this could act for footsteps of someone. As the piece continues at 0.32 there is a forte drum beat that could symbolize being caught. In Morales it is apparent that they use their instruments in order to tell their stories and their heightened drama that both pieces contain. Unlike in rent where the scenes are portrayed by the lyrics being sung by the different voices.
We will go further into details for the break down of individual stylistic pieces in the tab labeled: specifics.
